NOVA Infrastructure Expands Advisory Team
MID-MARKET INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT FIRM ADDS WATER AND TRANSPORTATION EXPERTS
New York City (April 1, 2020) — Infrastructure investment firm NOVA Infrastructure Management, LLC has expanded its team of senior advisors, adding environmental services and transportation experts Terry Mah and Dion Nicely.
Terry Mah is an innovative senior executive with more than 25 years of experience developing, leading, and growing water and wastewater operating businesses. Mah will lead the build-out of NOVA’s water and wastewater platform, with a particular focus on the industrial market.
Previously, Mah served as President and CEO of Veolia North America, the culmination of a 19-year career in multiple executive roles. In that capacity, Mah transformed a business with over 8,000 employees and annual revenues over $2 billion, unifying several independent operations into a single and coherent business platform and delivering revenue growth, significant efficiencies, and increased profitability. A Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Mah is also the Founder and President of the Malabar Group, which supports the growth and development of businesses within the environmental services sector.
Dion Nicely is an accomplished and entrepreneurial leader in operations, logistics, and finance who has more than 15 years of experience in the US Coast Guard and the private sector. Nicely will develop the transportation and logistics portions of NOVA’s portfolio.
Nicely is Founder and President of Veterans Maritime, a logistics and advisory company that transports government freight and energy products. Previously, he directed logistics and transportation for Bridger Logistics, and was an officer in the US Coast Guard, where he became well-versed in complicated maritime and intermodal transportation logistics. Nicely is particularly skilled at optimizing assets as diverse as barges, fuel tankers, multipurpose vessels and highly sophisticated top-level security clearance military vessels.
